hey,

Thought I may aswell introduce myself, my name is Ryan, im from south wales. I was told about this site by Dan (dont know his forum name) and Jason (sk8xtrm) basically i signed up because in the coming months im going to be looking for a fiesta SI to make into a track/fast road car.

I currently have a 2.0 zetec'd Ford Escort (that sk8xtrm fitted :D), which im going to be slowly making a bit quicker. with the fiesta being a side project.

I thought I may aswell sign up to the site now, just incase any bargains come up that I cant turn down, and also, with some si's having zetecs, I dare say quite a few people tune them, so it will be good for me to read up about things.

As said, I currently have an Escort, which most of my knowledge comes from, so you will have to bear with me as ill have to start learning about fiestas... I doubt much is different anyways lol.

lemme tell you tho, ive had a go with a couple of 1.6 si's, and they didnt go anything like jasons... that desiel gearbox does it wonders lol.

i think i scared him a bit when i first took him out in mine tho lol.

yeah it bet, i've only driven 1 2.0'd Si with a diesel box, but never really got a chance to stretch its legs, the 1.6 box is good for acceleration, but run's out of puff way to quickly :cry:

yeah i know what you mean, i have a 1.6 box on mine at the moment, 110 it feels like it aint got much left :(, nothing i can upgrade it too tho, as a 1.8 escort box is the same lol. awell. may end up with a diesel one lol.
