Been waiting ages for a contract to suit me with the samsung d500 orange/zoo have just released the perfect contract with 500 texts and 200 minutes for ?30 a month with free phone. the offer lets me choose a moto v3, samsung d500 or sony eric k750i spoke to a mate from carphne warehouse and says the k750i is by far the best - best camera, expandable memory, better contact listings but i had my heart set on the d500, what would you get? sorry its long winded! cheers, steve |

Im gonna be getting a D500 once I find a decent deal. Well into my Samsungs, had them long before people knew they were decent 
Sure people who have the phone will say to get something else because they're bored of theirs, but go with what you wanted, you may well be disappointed with any other one being as you are set on the D500

I've got a D500 and I cant fault it at all. Had Nokias for years as they were all much of a muchness and were very easy to use. took some getting used to but was great after that.
Cant say a good word about Sonys. Ex's had to go back about three times due it breaking and then it wouldnt work when she decided to keep it. It were shit to put it bluntly. |

Got a Orange/HTC SPV C500 
had it 7 months now. Ill be replacing it soon, need something with at least as many features as that. Sick of bloody D500 and 6230's. Then again,when i got my C500 no one knew what the hell they were, now in my pub theres at least a dozen people with them
There is a C550 coming out soon,but doesnt look as nice. C550: 
I'll give it a month,see whats around then. |

I got d500 quality phone happy with it but the new sony is also quality the camera is much better and apparently sony have sorted the little joystick out so it doesn't stick as that was one of the major problems with the last one. depends what you want the phone for. |

well i want good camera stylish big memory relatively small phone easy to use, i.e ususal keypad layout both phones cover this but.... sony has 2mp camera and expandable memory which is a big plus another thing is the fact that the manager of carphone said he swapped his d500 for the sony and says it was the best thing he's ever done also your replies pretty much some up how common the d500 is these days!!! im reallllly getting tempted by the sony now, i was planning on buying my dads digi cam next month but if i get the sony i wont have to. theres the offers if anyone else is intersted. cheers all |

of cause its more common hasn't the sony only just come out and all these people can't be wrong. i'd go for d500 again if i had the choice and i've used the sony |

I got nokia 3230. Can't fault it. Its got features to keep you amused but its a smartphone so not simple as 1,2,3 its more like 1,2,3,4,5,6 till you get something done. Saying that it has all top features. Samsung if you like quick and easy, nokia if you like tech/visual. |

got it in the post this morning, all i can say is wow, so far it seems great, the camera on it is excellent quality even on full zoom and in the dark, defo reccomended. big memory as standard (60mb ish) really pleased i didnt go for the d500

Edit: Found it accepts .3gp so used nokia multimeadia converter

I'm just about to order the K750i on orange. Traser - How long did you have to wait to get it delivered? How did you have to register it and set up the contract? Also can you put a limit on how many minutes/texts you use a month? Cheers.... Paul. |
