They don't cost that nowadays, and i'm sure the 360 cost a lot when it came out, and there are versions which cost more than PS3 IIRC.

i worked out i was worse off going back to pay as you go just due to the sheer amout of texting/calling i do and now the amount of web use i do on my phone :lol:

but i'm assuming you they'' reduce your bill for not upgrading?

but you need to buy games for that DS, and also my tarrif is £20 and I get everything.. which includes texts and internet and 300 minuites. And a 5MP camera, video camera, etc. etc.

But looking on the legal side of things, I don't buy apps because most of the good ones are free anyway, and you "should" have to buy games :lol: plus you forgot a sat nav the second time around.

Either way, most people have a use for smart phones, saves carry extra stuff around as well!

(oh and Mp3 players on them and most even DVDs.. Theres another cost ;))

Didn't forget satnav, gave you the benefit of the doubt you could do your own deduction. You have just brought me round to my original point paying for things I don't want to use, to cover every individual thing a 'smart' phone does yes it will cost more in separate devices. But you have missed the trick here, my phone is small and lighter, my DS is better for games than any 'smart phone', my camera is better than any 'smart phone', my video camera is better than any 'smart phone'.

Goes back to the jack of all trades argument, I have saved money over the years and put that money into better devices to do the bits I am interested in and not spent a penny on things I won't use.

Plus if I want to update one element (say buy a 3DS), I don't have to buy a new phone,camera,mp3 player etc to go with it. I want a better camera I don't need to buy a new games console.

If my phone breaks I can still use all my other gadgets.
