They dont even know why i'm there.

Its just "hi can I speak to ....."

yesterday it was "hes working salisbury" which is fine as I know hes after-sales manager of both branches.

and today hes at the dentist.

If I go back at 4ish and theres another excuse i'll be a bit wary. But i'm sure there not, they can't be. Considering I haven't mentioned why i'm there.

If i can finish this CV before then it would be a bonus :doh:

Well that's fucked that right up.

My clutch cable has just snapped. Just down the road as well :(

no AA anymore as I called out 5 times.. So now RAC at £120 :0
I have no money anyway :(

Yeah RAC towed me to a garage 30 seconds away, that was an expeinsive tow.. £60.

That garage will price it up in the morning.. hoping £30 seeing as last time AA fitted one and the cable was only £15

I don't have a clue what id be doing, better safe than sorry. hate it hate it hate it. For a breif moment i just wanted to sell up and get something reliable. my old fiesta cable snapped as well

I know have money worries. AGAIN. I have £150 I dont have coming out of my bank account. Great.

Sorry for the rant.

so you paid £120 for rac membership... then they charged you £30 to get towed 30 sec's down the road? :o

should of just pushed it :lol:

becks and i got stranded in scotland last year when her clutch cable snapped....we had to pay £50 to get recovered for a trip that was about 2/3miles down the road

they then had to source a clutch cable as they dealt with land rovers so more than likely had never seen a fiesta before :lolz:

it took 6/7hrs+ of waiting to get it all done as they had to go to the other side of scotland for a cable :|

in total we paid... £160 for the privilage, worst thing of all was.......... in the boot of my fez at her house was a brand new shiny clutch cable which i could of fitted in about 30mins in the January cold!

that was a day to remember, had an awesome time tho :D

£120 for callout+1 years membership and the tow.. Not even a lift home RAC= wankers
AA are 100x politer and helpful. Couldn't push it as was on a rounaboit, rush hour and going onto a 40 :| I hate life but I've had worse Lol

your breakdown wound like a rightgay! Especially with one in the other car, I'll buy one spare when I have cash I reckon :doh:

the RAC have been spot on for me, each one have said its good too see a cossie on the road, but not good that its broken down :lolz: :red:

that was a trip and a half, kicked myself for not bringing it with us :rolleyes:

You not know anybody with AA/RAC, should have got them to come down so they where with you and they are a member.

Mine snapped with it in 2nd gear, I actually got it home and I was a good few miles off :lol:

Was thinking about that but I didn't know anyone. It happened on my old fiesta too

I remembered not long after that if I turned off the engine put it in first And went I would have been alright. I can drive without a clutch. But when pushing it backwards I dunno if the brake was working so best I didn't I think lol which now I think about it is quite worrying.

I cancelled my RAC as they wanted an extra 55 quid this year.

I'm currently membershipless + own a french car = shizer!

do the AA have any good deals going on?

AA normally have some online deal going. They were £70 for me buy I had two extras.. No idea what. Mum did it fir me when I thought I needed them but didn't.

Must say thought I've called them out 5 times and it's always been excellent. They always take me home if I'm Stranded and normally on the back of a truck so my car is home with me. One time they took me to services, called an AA mechanic and he sorted it! They were even going to drive me the hour And a bit home if they couldn't.
RAC was 50 mile recorvery, I said "there's a garage there they fixed it last time" the bloke goes "oh right, you walk over there and fin out if they can do it" what!?? Leave my car lying in the road and walk off for 20 minuites.. While you do nothing.. Cheers mate. Then he didn't even offer me a lift home. In face he told me I better sort out a lift home.

But hey maybe it was just that on. Guy. I'm ure I'll find out in the future.
Needless to say there little questionarre at the end wasn't as pleasant as it could have been.

Hopefully get my car back tommorow and rant over :)

I am on a £30 a year thing with RAC, very little cover but I don't do much.

Go thru quidco and get some cashback on both the big 2.
