i have literally just been thinking about si's funnily enough :halo: and the thought came into my head of a garage, specified for si's. im gagging to do my si up, i dnt want to get ripped off by other mechanics who dont know much about the good old si. so heres the question, why wouldnt some of you guys who do a great job on your own car open up a garage that specialises in doing up fords... si's, escorts, mk1's, mk2's etc?

because then i can come and mingle, learn things and get my car done up and i would know you guys wouldnt be ripping me off! :D

and one more thing to add. im sure the range of jobs on here would be great attributes. such as accountants to run the businesses finances, delivery van drivers (could set up a shop to sell spares etc from broken fords), start a racing team! :D and i will now stop as i am getting carried away!

Because we all live in seperate areas of the UK and it isn't cheap opening a garage, most people have limited knowledge and just go ahead and do things and see how they go :P mainly bodge jobs, Would you like a set of people who didn't really know what they were doing working on your car? xD Granted some people do, but with some things alot of us get the advice and work together to figure it out, or just try it and see what happens.

it's a nice thought but from a business point of view it's not worth it. it's too much of a niche. Around here we got StreetRacers/Graham Goode all round tuning specialists...
to set up a few branches could involve a couple of £mill too.....
