Getting really annoyed with the amount of new members that seem to appearing in the cars/parts for sale but never actually posting to say hello, or im new etc! They post up what they want to sell, then pop on and off every now and again to see if anyones replied ... Then they disapear into thin air never to be seen again :x :x

its good in a way, but we are seeing more and more. is there no way of preventing this (eg you cannot access for sale sections(s) until 10 or more posts?) or something else?

as d00ner says we (well not we as such... Ry :P) should impliment a system where to post in forsale section you have to be on the forum a certain time or certain amount of posts before can sell things.

I like to trust people.. but recently I've been fooked over with people I know, but on the forums new users just signing up to sell things are abit hard to trust at times..

i have brought this issue up ;)

and i agree its hard to know if you can trust these new members, if they were serious about selling stuff they'd get stuck in and post some constructive posts, but on the other had having that rule opens up the thing that they might just spam to get 10/100 posts then post a forsale add and fook off :rolleyes:

If people are to sell things then they should have the following in the details...

Price with or without ono. But not offers with nothing to give a clue to what they want.
Pictures.
Email.
Phone Number.

For email and phone number you can use some website to create an image (or make image yourself) of the details so search engines wont come up with them ;)

Our Forum dosen't allow min post unfortunatly, as Terry has said this has been Raised recently and the Mod/Admin team have talked about ways of resolving this issue.


The Result being, which You may not have noticed but in Cars for sale, post have to be manually Approved, we hope to bring this into place for Parts for sale as well. :) If your Post isn't approved you'll get a message informing you. :)

Paul i know for sure you've had one as i Dis-approved one of your posts! :lol:
