Other bits as well like traction, aerodynamics, Unsprung weight, all the little things that add up. Id say it would be pretty close between a 1.6 Si and a VTR, but VTRs 1.6 8v Tu5jp have more potential than the Si's 1.6 Zetec, but thats a differnet thread/descussion

And Regards Crashing one into a Lamp post id like to be in neither, the Fiesta front end would crumble from Rust and not actually slow the car down! I wouldn't want to be in any car actually if it hit anything!

Hi im new to the site an have just bin readin this post an the way i see it is yea saxo's an scoobys mite be quicker off the lights, but for me they just dont have the looks ov an si an really its looks that do it for me an the si would win hands down in my opinion over any saxo or scooby i no i would prefure my si any day to a scooby or a saxo, so who cares if its quick or not as long as you enjoy drivin it mate thats all that matters.
