Very good read once again, my engine is black as said but im pretty sure i have a mk3 boot lid on mine as the boot popper wiring is a connecting point at the bottom which reminds there is one more thing you can add if you wish, the mk3 had one strong boot strut whereas the mk3.5 had 2 weaker ones. |

rob/des/mole think it must be the last of the mk3.5s that have a black engine bay, come to think of things i think i read it was a cost cutting method! all (3) of my si's have had a black engine bay. as said all some cars have a mix of bits! |

I would add the inner plate for the mirrors is swappable for the full effect. I'd also remove the suggestion to use a shim on the bottom of the shock. Potentially dangerous due to four wearable surfaces instead of two which means more possible movement. |

I run that set up too on mine. You just have to make sure its tight, no movement. And all is fine. |

My 1800 zetec had elec window switchs in the door pods, i think they were fitted there on K reg onwards so some mk3s were there too |
