getting rid of the goldfish tank window....... here's how...
YOU WILL NEED
bolts to fit window brackets and washers,
assorted screwdrivers,
thread gun,
hammer (always good with glass),
superglue,
torx bits to fit seatbelts,
knife,
file,
commen sence and strong thumbs
method....OLD ONES OUTremove the drivers and passangers front seat belts by removing the plastic covers with a screwdriver, remove the torx bolts behind, then remove the centre pillars plastic trim....

use your thumbs to work the old glass, quater window and rubber out from the inside out... start at the top....

...see it starting to come out....keep working the rubber out from the inside...

then when enough pull the window up and out....

no window no more....
RS WINDOWS IN
right old windows out... now, drill them two holes in the centre pillars out to the same size as the thread inserts you have....

then put the insert on the gun.... and a bit of super glue on the outside of the insert...

push the insert on the gun into the hole (there's 2 per middle pillar) these are what holes the front of the window inplace....

...then squeeze the gun arms together like a paraletic maniac!!! really tight really hard work? yes? that means your doing it right....
now put the rs window rubber around the hole. use your palm to smack and slap the rubber onto the metal edging....

start removing the rear pillar trim (poss head screw at top)

pop the plastic cover off the seat belt... and pull trim over end of boot hydrolic (don't yank the trim as it is still attached to the car... )

I spy with my little eye.... the little plastic cover behind the pillar trim...

pull the black plastic cover off reveals 3 holes... 2 for the rear bolts and one for the hinge to sit in....

***notice the indentations on the back of the pillar trim....***

cut out the indenttation as this sits round the hinge... (get the feeling someone else planned this mod?... 'Oi Henry.... cheers pal!')
place the window into the quater feeding the rear hinge through the hole in the rear pillar. Then put the two bolts in the two rear pillar holes lineing up the threads in the hinge and tighten.
Next loosten and turn the 2 front window brackets so window fits in easy....

push front of window in and twist the brackets over the rubber by 90degrees so that the holes in the front brackets line up with the holes in the pillar.
look at the window from the outside line it up so looks even all way round, then put the bolts in for the front too brackets....
this is how the back hing should look when folded up and the holes in rear trim correctly cut...
now put the trim back over the boot hydrolis and put the screw back in the top and attach the seat belt (reversal of taking off) and put cover back on...

compleated rear pillar trim.
now put the middle pillar trim back on, and seat belt back on, tighten, and put on cover...
and now.....
the end result...
