why would you want a higher top speed?
personally i'd rather have better accelration over top speed because i could count the amount of times i go over 100mph on my left hand.

:frown: good acceleration is good, but its fun to drive at speeds in excess of 100mph, do you not get that adrenallin rush? the need for speed as they call it?

if i could do it i'd do 200mph (not in the fez)..

and no i dont see the point in doing 120 down a motorway js dangerous really.. and now they have these new spec cameras? nightmare :x

Need for speed - yes, but I think the need for kicking some guys ass who thinks he can beat a Fiesta on the roads is much more fun :wink:

Plus when you're nailing your car flat out it drinks the petrol like George Best drinks alcohol on a bender night out after payday.

if you cant afford a 2.0 start by getting rid of the pulse air system on the exhaust manifold that jus gets in the way of the gases, and get a bigger throttle body, with matching MAF and then you might need to have it mapped and thats all you can do on the cheap, im assuming youve allready got an induction kit? then get a decent exhaust system, a trust electrical exhaust manifold and thats definatly it!
