Guys, im trying to mount some 6x9's in my parcel shelf....has anyone dont it cause im haveing serious issues due to the wierdly large amount of metal in the middle of it lol and a fat metal pole through it? So basicly whos doen it and how!!

what are you going to use to cut the holes with????? i used a jigsaw with a metal cutting blade!! |

lol sorry, the pole is in the parcel shelf! hmm yeh may have to use a metal cuttin blade and try and reclaim what ive done!! Surely cutting through it will seriously make the shelf sagg? |

oh right yer as hobbiniho said with the metal blade and if you put them neer the erm hinge of the parcel shelf it ull be ok ish

i think you can get flat selfs for 6x9's or do what i did and put them both in the middle lol

i mounted my 6x9s on the standard shelf and they sound mint ! oh and also i used a stanley knife to cut the shelf and then a hack saw to trim the metal, worked out fine and they sit lovely. SAMMY-C |
