Hi Im new to the forum and I am seeking advice I have just put my SI through the MOT and £290 later have a 12 month ticket. My next challenge is to repair rust etc on the body work. What I will need though is a passenger and drivers door in dark blue for a 5 door si and also a wing Does anybody know of any good places I can get these and also once the body complete I would be looking for a decent Spay company?? any ideas if anybody can offer advice or notify me of any companies that can take up the challenge PS i live in cornwall |

firstly welcome! A place where you can get panels from is sel imperial http://www.sel-imperial.co.uk/SelectPar ... &makeid=13 or off ebay! I would seriously think really long and hard about getting a respray, i had a respray a year ago, cost near on a grand, look where my Si is now, in my garden, getting ready to be turned in to paperclips for japan! Just think in the long run, is it really worth it! |

I understand it will cost alot for a respray but the engine and mechanics are mint. It is all standard and has 27000 original on the clock with service history from the orginal dealer It was owned by a pensioner who drove it like miss daisy since purchased from ford in launceston. The MoT was mainly tyres and some welding on the sills. oh and a 1.50 bulb?? lol I picked it up for £390 from a friends garage. I really want to keep the little monster and have a budget set aside for that amount. Hopefully it wont be paperclips just yet |
