just wondered what you guys thought about what size of alloy is suitable for styling AND performance
i do think 16" alloys look the nuts, but i have bin told they affect performance negatively, and the optimum size is 15"
has anyone had both and noted any difference? because even though i think 16" look nice, if the handling/performance was affected i would stick with 15"

what sort of use is the car bveing put to? does it go on the track?? if not i think 16's would work fine but ideally 15's is the best.

You must ensure you get the correct offset, width etc so you dont have any scrubbing problems.

offset is key with wheels i think, my old alloys scrubbed and the car understeered like a ho, because they where et 43,

my wellers are et 30 7j and they dont scrub and the car handles much better

i have 15's btw :)

16's dont make escos brakes look small!!!......to be fair they are too close for comfort with most 15's!

just dont go silly.....in reality anything over a 7 inch rim wirh appropriate tyre is going to make a fiesta tramline all over the place


thats about the only advice i can give....
