Get the cam cover off and jet it down properly and spray it whatever colour you want. But dont forget to get a new gasket for it - only a couple of quid.
That's how I done mine
Just gives the engine bay a freshness.
ANother thing to make things really stand out is to get the engine steam cleaned. I know there are horror stories about this, but if you get it done right it can look amazing, and still retain all your standard things. Pumabuild actually do a steam cleaning service, so it can't be all bad
