th decomp plate isn't too limiting, I think your looking at £260bhp max going that route which is more than enough. As for ZVH, its not so much messing with wiring, just swapping the whole loom which will need to be done anyway. The main problem with a ZVH is the amount of headwork done, not too bad but it if goes pop then its a lot to do again where the 16v head should be fine in its standard form and replaced easily. I would say if you are building yourself you could do a 1.8 turbo for around £1200. I would say going over to fiesta turbo for more info, I believe heeman on there is using a decomp plate with not too many issues. |
