Does anyone know the legalities on using the foglamps in my bumper as indicators aswell as fog lamps i wont be using the inner lamps as these will be removed for venting and clearance at a later date |

i think that it would be an MOT failure where i work. have you considered putting an extra bulb into one of the new lights? using a silver bulb and a huge drill bit im sure you could manage it? |

I THINK, that if your car has foglights, then it is an MOT failure if they're not working / unplugged.... |

just looked up the MOT regs on this and FRONT fog lights are NOT part of the MOT test and this is catagorically stated in the rules, they may be checked but dont have to be functional. front spotlamps that work with full beam must be functional if fitted ![]() that solves a few problems ![]() |
