if you remove the airbag/steering wheel, will the car fail the mot?
i wish to fit a aftermarket wheel

No mate, but be mega carefull when you remove it. Ideally leave it over night with the battery diconnected if not at leastb 30 mins.

dont know if it will trigger the airbag light to come on though,

disconnect the batterys negative first

then remove the air bag after 10 mins and take out the air bag light (bulb) on the dash

then it ull easly pass the m.o.t
