rekon my wishbones need replacing again coz wen i go round a corner quick it feels like the wheel sort of collapses under neather the car if you know what i mean did same last time i needed some new ones its the 5th pair ive had this year!! can anyone help want some that will last longer !!! and give good handling heard someone talk about sum bushes with out rubber just metal !!!???? and want to get my cars handling mint as in no body roll can anyone advise cheers gaz |

I take it youve been buying pattern arms? Get genuine Ford ones and they will last a hell of a lot longer. Or get polybushed ones. They will tighten up the handling a bit and last even longer. The bushes you are talking about are rose joints, well really spherical bearings. I wouldnt suggest using these on an everyday road going car because they have no give in them and also have no protection from salt spary and grit. |

Powerflex. You can get them through, Burtons, Halfords and lots of other places. You only get the bush so you will need to have your old ones pressed out and the new ones pressed in. It is possible to do it yourself, i did, but it might be better to have them done properly. |

Big miss conception with spherical bearings! There fine for road use. You can get bearing boots which you fill with grease. Just have to have a good service schedule to make sure they haven’t spread the bearing cups. Just like coilovers they will work but will be harsh and will be needed to be treated with care.
