Finally got a new project
Been a long time coming now, with lack of funds and lack of fiestas too without more rust than the titanic.
Hopefully will have more luck than the last one....
Any way, I have put this in projects as I have few plans, and hope to update regularly as possible as I go along.
Its recently had a new engine and has 52000 miles.
First of all I put my old Miglia Spyders on…
Dodgy exhaust
The shell looks good, just a tiny rust patch on off side rear arch.
It didn’t stay like that for too long though…
I fitted a magnex 3â€￾ stainless exhaust. And took a few bits out I thought weren’t needed.
Must say I was very impressed, not a sign of rust inside under the carpet.
Weighed it all as it came out too
Just messing about with battery, moving it out the engine bay to give a bit more space, and should help weight distribution as it weighs 11KG!!!!!
Rear Seat 7 kg
Wheel Carrier 2kg
Sound deadening 3.5kg
Plans then are
Weld in strut braces
Start mocking up a roll cage.
Seem Welding
Rose jointed rear
Tubular front lowers
Liking the Reyland rear end where it is mounted to the floor, but maybe that’s a bit excessive for a Fiesta?
And
I have these to go on at some point, just need to get Mega Squirt or OMEX.
Just need to be stripped, serviced and rebuilt then.
Looks alright dude, exhaust looks weird, it's not an Si one looks a bit small - assuming it a 1600. Don't crash this one dude

have u got much planned for this one?, i read the old post about what happened with the kerb jumping out in front of ya, but did u do the front end damage in the same crash? as i can't remember...
got on at work though
