check out jonosi's build thread (in the members gallery). he had his 1.6si turbo charged by a motorsport company. pretty sure theres a spec sheet of what they did so have a look on there bud! |

But no offense to Jono( or Adam) as his an imaculate example. But the cost involved in turbo'ing the 1.6 to get somewhat around 2.0l power in a low boost set up, is somewhat pointless imo. You may as well fit a 2.0l then turbo that. |

Just seen your in braintree. Speak to phil ask him to take you out in his 2.0l (n/a not a turbo) you'll see how much better foundations it is. |

As mentioned adding a turbo to the 1.6 isn't really worth it. A 2.0 conversion is cheap/easy conversion and gives good power. If wanting a turbo a 1.8 can be a little cheaper than a 2.0 but of course is more limited. |

Yes go 2.0, and then turbo it later as its much cheaper and you will get a ton more power. Cossie splitters look awesome. |

yeah i'm buying a 1.6 zetec turbo but on a cost basis i wouldn't do it from scratch ![]() 2.0 will need pistons etc - 1.8 can be turbo'd on a decomp plate and around 10psi |
