need to buy discs and pads for my rs2k calipers. now its either standard vented discs and pads or do i go uprated with grooved discs and better pads? just want a good set up tbh. thanks |

Get some standard ferodo standard discs and premier pads if you can get them in your fitments. |

thanks lads. ill have a look percy. yeah i think it will be overkill getting uprated shit as the servo, braided lines and refurbed calipers should do the trick nicely! |

I overhauled the whole of my Si's braking system, new shoes and cylinders on the back, new calipers on the front, discs, pads, lines, fluid, followed by a damn good bleed, and I have to say the thing stopped better than the Pulsar does (not difficult with it's shit brakes). The weight and speeds Si's do, if you have a decent standard brake setup, there's no need going into the whole uprated thing unless you are tracking it. |

yeah i thought that Des. will be replacing the shoes etc on the rear as well. i suppose if i do start getting into track days i can get track pads and discs to swap over for then ![]() brill percy. you have ferodo yeah? |

Another good brand are mintex, also pagid are good too. I'm running pagid pads on ford discs... good hot and cold imo - and I do hard braking ![]() |
