I'm finally putting the 2.0 in my car! There's something I'm stuck on though.. what have you guys done about the holes you're left with on the gearbox, where the starter and that goes on the mondeo. I went to fords to see if they made something for it but no  help!

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKING HELL!  Where was the text to say you was doing this? HUH! Tut lol. Erm the metal spacer plate thing should hide that hole. If not, just leave it, it will be fiiiiiine

I made a small plate to cover the hole, as I was worried about stones getting in and causing damage. It's just left open on my other 2.0 Si though, and hasn't been a problem. |

You dont need one. I never ran one on mine and everyone else i know never did either. It will be fine.

yeah, the gap shouldnt be able to let anything in majorly or let alone damage anything! if your anxious though just get some sheet metal or whatever, cut it to shape and fix it in the gap with super glue  probably what ill do.
