Yeah you can change the springs to any other spring for that model, tbh tho, I'll be the shocks causing the prblems not the springs, I take it you have either a 35mm or 60mm drop? |

You'll want proper dampers but proper dampers are worth double what your car is worth at the very least. You will probably find though that brand new OEM dampers with Eibach springs will out-damp and out-handle any cheap aftermarket chinese tat like spax and gmax that has never even had any R&D work done on the actual car you drive, just a bit of guess work which feels "different" to OEM but is not actuallyany better or more importantly, does not make you "faster". |

I had a gmax kit on my si from brand new for 7 years and had no problems at all and the ride was good, spax are very good quality, I dont recomend using uprated springs with standard shocks |

Phil, Eibach springs kits are developed for each car on standard OEM shock absorbers - there one of very few makes that do this. Hence why I bought my lowering kit from Ford themselves for my Mk4 Fiesta - no shocks, just the springs, although they did recommend that I refresh my shock absorbers with brand new items too. |

Bilstein are a fantastic make. Again, another company that actually do proper R&D and make a decent performance upgrade as part of a complete suspension setup. |

I think mines an 3.5 its got the filler cap cover the vsx kit i have was for a 3.5 and fits fine those shocks on ebay are 44mm where it fits into the hub assembly? would it be easier and cheaper in the long run just to get some mk3 xr2i hubs and just swap them over? as every thing for the 3.5 just seems more expensive than mk3 stuff |
