£45 post for brakes is worth it. But Id rather get new discs as they look shagged. Could easily run bigger ones for not much more cost ![]() |

Think you have to drill out the hub holes or 12mm, and use a 3mm spacer on the disc for cossies. Same as which you do for most of the upgrades ![]() |

Post subject: | Re: brakes |
no they wont. youll need spacers with those wheels. its to do with the shape of the spokes..doesnt need much. 3mm should do it ![]() |

Cossie/mondeo v6 with 278mmx24mm discs will fit under rs2000 wheels with only the 3mm spacer between the hub and the disc, this is a fact as it is what I am running on my car, if I get a chance I'll take a pic and upload it |

With mondy/cossie brakes you do have to drill the brake pad carrier holes out from 10mm up to 12mm, the standard flexi pipes fit no problem |

i may have some v6 mondeo calipers you can have free mate then you can spend the money on having them properly machined to fit rather than spacers etc |

Post subject: | Re: brakes |
thanks tonwah, darren... think i might just go for the rs2000 brakes for ease, but are they a direct bolt on? i dont mind having to space out the cossie brakes if needed and drill them out, but it would save hassle! |
