Sup, I want pics/ideas for induction setups for use with the rs1800 inlet manifold and throttle body. My K&N banana pipe is shit and is sucking itself shut under load, so need an alternative which is nice and free flowing. I'm potentially looking to fabricate something which is out of metal tubing as that's the best I've seen so far, but show me pics and throw ideas at me ![]() |

Yeah I've been thinking about doing something like that, it seems to be the only feasible way of doing it. I just need to get some pipe of some sort now and make up something similar to that. |

When I'm home tonight I'll check my garage and see if I've got some of that pipe left over for you mate. ![]() Either have bonnet lifters or slightly hammer down the metal pipe else it'll hit and dent the bonnet slightly as I found out ![]() ![]() |

Cool, cheers mate ![]() I've made a temp induction kit out of a hacked up gti intake pipe and some flexi cold air feed pipe, it seems to rev more freely now it seems from the little test run, I'll have a proper verdict once I've sorted out the other little problems that's holding the powerrrrrrrr back |

If I remember pipe wise it was a 90 degree and a 45 degree joined by that metal pipe. Obviously the 90 comes off the inlet and the 45 can go downwards by the battery or basically wherever ![]() |

Ah i see that now lol, gotta love the electrical tape haha ![]() I did that once, it melted and the engine bogged down because air was getting in after the maf. I found out the best bodge is duct tape xD And yeah the pic i sent is a modded pic of how i wanted mine, but it belongs to 95si/paul now lol You do need bonnet spacers for that setup though, cause you don't want a dented bonnet ![]() |
