I was gonna get some fancy gearbox mounts, but Ive got some brand new standard ones sat doing nothing... and for 150bhp.. I cant warrent spending 100 on 2 bits of rubber

Very interesting. I was thinking of whacking polybushes all around my car and then Danny mentioned Spherical bearings, Now you show me this more investigation is needed clearly! |

mine are have poly bushes but with a swivelling ball in the middle of em so the actual bush wont flex and pull out of the arm like they normally do. the bush also has a metal casing round the outside of it which is held into the arm by circlips. |

I'm going for a full uprated/hardened rubber mettalastic setup for all main bushes, but with standard or polybushed ARB/droplinks, Gear linkage bushes and steering rack bushes. |
