I am planning on completely restoring my si.
1st step come january i am going to replace all floor pans and weld weld on new sills.
Since im working at ford i can get the parts quite easily. Has any1 done this??
If so any advice or pics or some sort of help would be nice ;)
Also thinking of seam welding chassis??

Then im going to replace steering rack, antiroll bars, driveshafts, hubs, stabilisers & lower arms wiv genuine ford parts but replace bushes with powerflex.
Then upgrade brakes all round.

having looked into floor pans for my old rs1800 there isnt any repair panels specific for the mk3 floor
the only thing i could find was a complete floor and boot floor

Oh really, I havnt looked into it on the ford system yet but the parts guys say they have got hold of them for someone before. Either way I will probly still replace the whole floor.

Floor pans on the Si mk3.5 should be the same as mk4 and 5 floorpans ;)

Just spoke 2 parts, u can only get the whole floor panel as 1 and it costs £500 2 retail :O

your best off trying to find a scrap mk3 with a good floor and cut out the sections

Well maybe, but then it will just rust agen, im planning on keepin this project goin 4 years. With my disount its like 300 n 20 for each sill so probly get em.
