i have just ended up with a 1.8 p reg mondeo for the price of a pint it has been stood for a year or 2 so basicly whats bit can i strip to put on mine

brakes
engine
maybe master cylinder and servo depending on the type
thats about it really
or you could tidy it up abit and sell it on as a whole

Find a driveway you can borrow, then strip the hell out of it. Sell the whole lot, don't bother putting a 1.8 in place of a 1.6, not worth the effort, 2.0L the SI with the funds from stripping the mondeo. Keep the servo and master cylinder as suggested. Wouldn't bother with the brakes, may as well get an ST24 or cossie setup (can get both of them cheap if you look around second hand).

1.8 is a good upgrade over the 1.6, as you can fit 2.0ltr cams and HO inlet to it to become "130spec" rs1800 / escort gti
2.0ltr brakes are better than the standard fiesta ones, but ST24 ones are cheap, so are MK3 Mondeo calipers for 300mm setup. Also as said above, brake servo if the correct type.

Weigh the rest of the car in, and you'll have a nippy fiesta.
