Hi guys what cluch kits do you reckomend, budgets 150.. I tend to like engine braking a lot, bieng first away from the traffic lights with out any thing going bang! Needs to be ok around town also any ideas? Thanks guys Tiababy is a Legend... |

Alot of people just stick with the standard clutch as its the same as the rs turbo one and thats good for 130bhp which is only 6bhp short of a silver top 2.0 |

I know so the standard clutch should do but if you want piece of mind then people usually get a black diamond clutch. |

just done a conversion and using a cheaper ap racing clutch cost me 110 quid i think and its awesome! |

the standard zetec clutch is fine for upto about 150bhp so you should get any issue swith it, after 150 it will start slipping when you floor it engine braking wouldnt have an effect as the engine power/torque is not whats going to cause slip, its matching the engine speed tot he road wheel speed

What do you use if you want more than 150 hp? i saw some figures that a silvertop with bike carbs can push out upto 180 hp and if thats the case thats the way im gona go
