hi there. i want to up-rate my brakes. iv got a fez si 1.6 with 15" escort gti wheels. which are the best callipers to use...i was told get a set of escort gti ones, but will they bolt straight one? i want a set up that i can bolt straight onto my old hub. any ideas? thanks

you may have got mistaken with rs2000 ones, they bolt straight on!! and easy upgrade to standards! |

St150's are a straight fit and quite a few people on here have them under gti wheels. I found mine on the stoc website there are people selling them when they upgrade their brakes |

id do 300mm brake conversion that will fit under gti alloys |

I think gti brakes are pretty much standard on an escort where as rs2000's are bigger but I think st150 brakes are even bigger. I dont really know though but I reckon st150 brakes are best as they are newer. |

iirc gti's 240mm, rs2k 260mm, fiesta zetec s / late puma 260mm, festa st 280mm, mondeo v6/ cossie 280mm, mondeo mk3 / st170 300mm |

Ive got a set of mondeo V6 brakes inc calipers/carriers discs and pads. Im selling due to fitting 4 pots. There 280mm and will fit under 15's £70 plus postage. Anything will be better over the standard 240mm ones |

ST150 brakes... they fucking rock! Got some on mine
