I was just wondering, as i have the complete electric pack on my Si... apart from wing mirrors. If i wanted electric wing mirrors, is it just the case of taking out my door looms and replacing them with looms with electric mirrors and plug in? Or do i have to go further and change my dash loom too? Someone must know! lol

i had to change the door looms too mate, there should be a spare connector under your dash which the loom plugs into!! |

The electric mirrors option was available on the MK3.5. However the loom on the dash was one spec for everything but mirrors, and mirrors. Check the number of pins in the plug under the steering column for the electric windows, central locking etc. If it's not full, you'll have to wire in the mirrors yourself. |

So basically on mk3.5 if i wanted electric windows and didn't have them already, all i have to do is plug them in. But if i wanted mirrors i'd have to wire them in |

Possibly yes. You may get lucky if you see extra pins. |
