Yo. Just got hold of a 1.6 Ghia fiesta. 1994, 5 door. Blah blah, fiesta really. Uhm, just wondering, it's a mk3 model rather than a 3.5 isn't it? Cheers! |

if its a 94 fiesta it will be a mk3.5 wont it? does it have a flap over the fuel filler cap? |

has it got a petrol flap? thats usually a sign its a mk3.5 not a mk3 |

Yeah if it's got the petrol flap, you've got an SI. Except it has normal bumpers and no anti-rollbars! |

It does indeed have a flap over the petrol cap! Also, I'm looking for killer rust spots! I assume it's mainly the sills, cause the rest of the car is pretty spotless. Think the drivers side sill has had some work done to it. Passenger side looks fine! Just got some temp alloys too! Some mk4 4 spokes

rust spots: sills arches rear chassis floorpan bulkhead strut tops front and rear valances around windscreen

under seals as well in the doors. I'd check there too. and the rear suspension turrets in the boot. |

alrightyyyyyyyyyyy, i'll make a day of looking around the car. If it's solid enough, i may keep it  and fix it up! think the first thing i'd do is lose the suspension, it's hellishly bouncy! lool |

go for a shock and spring kit as opposed to just springs try and source some si ARB's to

Yeah. I intended to get a full kit, instead of just springs. Don't think I'll do much till after Christmas now. Girlfriend will probably kill me if i spend ALL of my money on it. lol. |
