Right.. My reaction may have been a bit blatent today  I want some Recaro's! Got no money and I searched anyway and found some for £40  Really tempted.. The only thing stopping me is,Do I need different Subframes to fit them? I'm assuming they won't bolt straight onto a Mk5, if so thats kinda good, keeps me out of a bit of debt until another set pop up but bad, because I really want them!

What can I get them from? Just an Si? or can i use mk3's. Don't seem to be any on ebay so will be a struggle to find I guess. |

only the 1.6 si, iirc the 1.4 si, uses the mk3 subframes, not mk3.5 |

How much am I looking at for a set? ish. Can't afford at the moment but it ain't gonna be easy to find some unless someone has some lying around. |

i there a difference between mk5 subframes and mk 3.5? if not why cant you just swap them over? |

Ah i see, yeah I think there is a difference between the two subframes, and the recaro's are standard in the mk3.5's so they'll be ready to fit on them.

my mk3.5 si seats fitted straight into my mk4, and the mk4/mk5 share the same frames. I picked up two front seats in perfect condition for 55 quid from a retailer (normal seller around 30/40 for a GOOD set), and 10 quid for the rear seats elsewhere. |

oh and my recaro's sell for around £400/£500 a pair - You're welcome to them and I'll put Si seats in my Teg Bloody miss those seats on long journeys!
