hi.
iv got 15"'s on my si, with a 60mm drop all over, my mate has a set of mondeo 16"'s i can have with good tyres on, but i was wondering if anyone knew if they would fit, rub due the 60mm drop.

you can have trouble with 15"gti wheels that have slightly to big tyres on can cause trouble so i can imagine 16" being a ain in the arse. |

they would look good but definatly rub especaily when turnng. im sure someone on here has tried the set up so they maybe able to state the problems. is the mondeo si ones your being offered? |

mate with them alloys you want a tyre proflile of 40/45mm im not 100% on how low to go but i think 40mm is the maximum for these rims |

I'm down on 60mil on the front and back. It's rubs LOADS on the front with 15's with 195/50. Back is fine. Just got steels on now =/ 13's, sits proper lowww. |

I had 60mm all round with 195/45/15 with no probs, I would assume that if you got a lower profile tyre the 16s would be alright. Trial fit them? |

I had 195/50/15 and they gave me jip rubbing on full lock and twating the arches all the time over bumps so i got some 195/45/15 and they are perfect, with 16" wheels would need a very very low profile tyre. As said though trial fit and the problems will present themselves. |
