well mine are looking not the best, so time to change them just been on ebay and there are diff ones. so what size and what not do i need for mine and how do u put the nuts on them

then fit them your self
saves hassle with flaring n whatnot
thers a company round here that does it
and theyre cheap

I just paid the following:

10 x male connectors
25 foot of 3/16 copper pipe
1 x Sealey brake pipe flaring kit

Cost me a whole £24 inc VAT.

Ideally I need a proper pipe cutter and bender (which I will get when doing the full fiesta lines!), but I got away without it for the mondeo.

And I did half the rear end of my mondeo with it!

Got it from a local motorfactors

I used my hands to bend it, was fine.

Although the Mondeo has just failed on a brake pipe which has corroded, so now Im going to have to replace the front the back pipe (which runs all over the bloody place ) So hopefully, no pipe bender should be okay!!

I painted the rear one I replaced and that passed on the MOT last night.

It was the original unpainted ones which had corroded which failed.

IMO everything on the underside should be fully undersealed including the brake lines to protect them. (Which is what I normally do on my daily runners, but havent on the mondeo... yet!)

theres nothing to loose with painting it even though the copper wont rust but its just more aesthetically pleasing..

I won't be painting my copper lines on the mondeo.

They will be covered in my underseal spraying which I will do in a few weeks, ready for this shitter months Suprisingly for a Ford, the underside isnt too bad on the mondeo!
