How easy is it to fit a passenger airbag to a MK3.5 that hasn't got one? Is it just the case of changing the airbag module to a 2x one and obviously fitting the second airbag.. Or is it harder? ..Anyone done it before Just wanted my car to look a bit more luxury  Because i know it was an optional extra on the Si's but nobody got one because they were so expensive back in the day |

mines got one  if you just want it for the look couldnt you just put the cover over the hole in the dash? would look like theres an air bag but obvsly nothing behind it

If the wiring is already there (not sure if all the looms had it) then do it. If not, leave it. |

Thanks for the input guys I love the idea about the hidden storage lol I know behind the plastic cover thing there is a airbag control unit thing but i don't know if that is for the driver as i havent looked at it properly |

The airbags are shite anyway. Ive smashed a front end in on 2 mk3 fiesta's and nothing went off

Depends on the severity of the crash, if when you crashed your head never hit the steering wheel, then they didn't need to go off. I know someone crashed their Si into a tree and it went off, because it was a dead stop - if you know what i mean lol |
