Just purchased an RS1800 steering wheel and was wondering how you change the steering wheel on a Si and put the RS1800 one on. Any help greatly appreciated Ben |

i take it the rs one is pre air bag then you will need a pre air bag ignition barrel as the ignition barrel on a air bag model is longer |

shouldnt do, obv you need to get the wheel off first check the haynes manual for this, take the air bag off and its one big bolt ![]() ![]() ![]() |

the metal housing of it it is longer on the air bag model to acomidate the clock spring so a non air bag steering wheel will rub |

yeah it can be an mot failure and when you take the air bag out make sure you disconnect the battery for more than 15 minutes or the air bag will go off. scarey when they go off accidently ![]() |
