hi there.
i have a 5 door si, but the drivers door window winder handle has broken. the hole knob thing is broken so im going to need a hole new thing, which i dont mind doing, but i was woundering if anyone knew if the si with electic windows had the same wiring loom as the manal so i could just put the doors on from an si with electic windows into mine. plus the other center console too. i have had a look a quick look under the center console, but couldnt see anything. can anyone help?
any info would be geart!!

i am thinking about doing the same to mine and i think you need to run + and a - to a relay thing and then to the door correct me if a am not right rob.

3 door, door loom and electric pack loom are the same

so i couldnt just put in a set of electic window doors and find the contecors and wire it all up?

Would be easier to get the door looms and the electric window regs with switches

Is yours a 1.6 zetec 5 door??

My 5 door zetec just plugged the loom straight in, job done.

oh you have done it b4? yeah fiesta 5 door si. N reg. so the looms should be there? i just nned to look harder? what about the fuse box??

Under the dash near the drivers side, there should be a plug...

On that plug, you plug the electric pack loom into.. which then goes to each side of the car... to the bits that go through to the doors... the doors have their own separate loom which will incorperate central locking, electric windows, speakers, and on some looms.. electric mirrors.

i thought so!! so the looms are same! wow! wicked! il have a look when i get time!

all il need to do then is find a fez in petrol blue with electic windows haha

This sounds alot easier than i thought, so the electric pack is a sort extra plug in loom to the existing loom so its a case put it in rather than replace on the si's

butttt hang on! iv just had a thought...what about the door locks...what else would i need to change if anything??

i dont think mine has the connecter either, did any mk3 have leccy windows? pr was it just mk 3.5?

No pics, but get under the dash where your pedals are. Right against the bottom lip of the visible dash when you're sat in the car you will see a huge amount of wiring clipped on with zipties. The big round plug with multiple pins (or holes, can't remember) should be very obvious. Then groan and shout as you fight to get back out again.
