Mines pretty much heavy enough to hold itself down.
Although, i have a small block of wood raising the subs up, which gets caught on a ridge in the boot. So it doesn't move anyway.

Just a quick one every time I go fast or even slow my sub and boot carpet goes flying around the boot and pulls the wires out lol How do you lot keep your subs bolted down lol |

What !!! Drill through my floor !!! The thing is it's the carpet it slides around the boot with the sub lol I reckon if I could stick the carpet down then I would be sorted |

Yes drill through the floor... how to you think people fit tow bars to most cars?? I stuck my sub down to the floor on my last fiesta. Although it would be better to bolt it down IMO. Or make a false floor. |

Ha ha think I'll just use sticky Velcro pads on the carpet to hold that down then I think it might stop the sub from sliding to lol I honestly coul drill through my floor lol |

I made a full mdf floor with a sub shaped hole then carpeted it. It didn't move. |

make a false mdf floor or part of a floor to hold it in that way you dont have to drill in to the boot |

Yeah that's the easiest option if you have a jigsaw. Just get a sheet of mdf preferably 19-25mm thick. Use your carpet as a guide and mark it out. Cut it. Bobs your uncle. Now you could either bolt your sub to the false floor, or put your sub on it where you want, draw around it and cut. |

Two holes via drill. Bam. Two L shaped brackets. Wham. Screw into sub box - nut and bolt into boot floor. Kazam! |

stick the carpet down with spray glue (buy from halfords for few quid), theres nothing under the carpet so you should never need to take it out again, the sub wont slide on the carpet is its stuck. |

Found some 3m spray glue at work the other day whilst sorting out our crap so think I'm gonna give it a go tommorow |

ok...well 2 off cuts of wood which happened to be the correct size to wedge to the left hand side of the sub, the front of the sub is held in buy a bit of insulation foam stuff and behind the sub to space it away from the rear seats i have a head rest out of a mondeo... hmm so yeh o.O |

mdf floor for me (dont like drilling through the boot floors) and i then added a smaller bit mdf screwed along one side and in front (all carpeted) to hold the bottom and i then used 6 heavy duty velcro pads stuck on the rear seat that grip the fabric of the box. not had mine move even with the rock hard suspension
