Slightly confused. Didn't know you needed to or could primer back lights ![]() Basically go on eBay. Type "tinting spray" cheapest is just over £5. Get some. And layer it on. The more layers, the darker it'll be. If you want them to be legal you need to leave the red reflector strip. Or you could buy some small refelctots and stick em on the rear somewhere. Or just not bother. Illegal but not many coppers care. Could carry spare reflectors just in case, apologiz, stick em on and take em off later ![]() hopefully this helps. |

Ah I see. Sand off the primer, sand down the outer so that the tinting spray will stick. If there lexus ones then spray em heavy black. ![]() you may as well go heavy black cus no one likes lexus lights and lightly will still probs be illegal and won't look as good ![]() |

Or if you want them for shows... keep the primer on and spray them the same colour as your car. As they aren't road legal like that but you can still see the lights and it looks really cool!.. i saw a pic once, if i can find it again i will show you. |

We just used some Black spray paint from a can (tinting spray was £15 quid from Halfords!) and put a few coats on, looks dark but you can still clearly see the brake lights, indicators etc. ![]() |

yeh you can spray the whole light aslong as the reflector is still visible/reflects when light hits it (just spray layer after layer and keep testing. mine are pretty dark and have never had trouble. definetely laquer them otherwise you will have a matt finish, doesnt look so good IMO. |
