They're 4" 100w ones, link here: . The headunit is an Alpine one with 50w outputs, but the Ford speakers that were in there before were 100w and they seemed to work fine with it. The wiring should be okay, I bought a rear speaker adaptor kit from Halfords so you plug the adaptor wires into the Ford wiring and then the + and - wires onto the speakers. |

Funnily enough thats what I was listening to to make it crackle! (Just got back from seeing Prodigy play at Brixton) Might think about replacing all the Ford wiring with some decent stuff but I can see that'll take the best part of a day to do

The speakers are actually a bit smaller than the Ford ones that were in there so they move around a bit, guess that doesn't help the wiring. I'm going to screw them in tight at the weekend. Also might re-soundproof the boot. |
