What Bhp/Torque can i expect from my soon to be finished 2.0 si? running the 1600 inlet and exhaust still, with the 1.6 box?
i drove a 2.5 v6 mondeo earlyer that was mental obviously i dont expect it to be as quick as that,
how quick does the 2.0 with 1.6 box feel?

mine had a RS1800 throttle body at the time though, would think the 1600 one would hold it back quite a bit though, as for 1600 gearbox, i like it accelerates really well in 3rd and 4th

The 2.0s seem to make 120-140 depends on a whole range of things.

Mine pulled upto 65 in second gear which was fun.

with that inlet and that exhaust manifold... im guessing still with the egr? around 115-120... my escort had a 1.6 inlet and 2.0 engine and that was a tad slower than a 115bhp 1.8 escort... but when i put a 4 branch mani and rs1800 inlet it would leave it.

with the egr removed and an rs1800 inlet you'll easily see standard 135 i recon.

which mondeo was you on about because if your talking about the st24 or st200 i cant imagine the 2.0 fiesta not being far behind, i hear it being like saxo vts speed which is 0-60 in 7.2 seconds (saxo 120bhp/2.0 zetec 136bhp) which i think is quicker than the mondy's. If your talking about the st220 then you will need more power :devil:

Yes a 2.0 Fiesta and a Saxo VTS are pretty much perfectly even, we tried it when I had my Saxo and Matt had a 2.0.

Removing the egr won't cause any problems with emissions, its there to warm up the CAT faster. But an emissions test shouldn't be done when its cold anyway, basically it may take slightly longer for your emissions to come down but this is no problem at all.

My 2.0L Had 131bhp that was with a 1.6 inlet, standard exhaust system and a K&N. :)

Had 149.9Ft/lb of torque :chill:

I had 5 Gearboxes in the 6months i had the 2.0l in, 2xSi's, 2x 1.8 Escort, 1x Escort Derv Box :)

Shame I never got a Saxo RR'd, but they do make 125-130 with induction and exhaust.

If I remember at the top end of the scale my Saxo did start to pull away ever so slighly.

With that I do still miss my fiesta.

would you say its worth getting a longer ratio box for the 2.0 conversion like the rsturbo box or keep the 1.6?

Pretty sure the ratios are the same on the RST, mine went up to 70 in 2nd so long enough.
