something to do with the crossmember, apparently 1.6 sis have it and 1.4s dont.

S brace which basically bolts to the wishbone carriers. I suppose it adds strength? And it also doubles as a hanger for CAT's. RS Turbo has one of these but without the hangers.

so will it make the chassis a bit stiffer then? and possibly improve handling? act like a lower strut brace maybe?

Basically yes. But ive never noticed any improvement, as i ran with and without it

mine does catch a bit but dont think the 2.0 in front helps when parked on kerds always catches it

but with out it wont u lose your exhorst over a speed bump ?
