people are selling 1.8 16v cams on ebay saying they are a upgrade to put on the 1.6 and increase power? is this true???
can anyone shed any light on this???

apparently if they are out of a 115ps model they may fit. i wouldn't want to try it though.

What's the best things todo to a 1.6 ( I know everyone will say 2.0 just gotta save the pennies first) I've got uprated maf, induction, de-cat Ashley exhaust system. Thinking of a manifold but don't know really what todo to it...

you could get some reground cams from autosprint in birmingham (same profile as kent cams).
that would make it go better. also a superchip can be picked up cheaply now too.
cams are quite pricey though so it depends on your situation.

i just went by the listing on ebay...
gains - small bhp increase, sounds nicer, pops and alters powerband upto 6-6.5k. I've had two and for some reason my first one worked better than my second one. Absolutely no idea why it may just be my mind playing tricks lol :lolz:

i put 2.0 cams and throttle body on my fiesta si 1.6 16v the throttle body gave it alot mone low down power but the cams helped the bottom end to go on the motorway lol bad times it did make a little difference in overall performance.
