I know its not on a fiesta but should be fairly general.

I have found an exhaust on ebay which is a stainless tailpipe with just a straight through 2" bore stainless piping to where it joins the midpipe.

I'm guessing this will be fairly loud, but shouldn't have an effect on performance would it?

Also is this a legal mod as the mid box and cat will still be in place, just not the rear box?

would say, not going to really have an effect on performance, will be louder, may attract more unwanted attention, not ilegal but could invalidate insurance if not notified and involved in a accident

Yeh thats what I was thinking, i meant illegal like decats are, which if its not then thats fine....

It shouldn't be too loud as apparently these cars are known to be quiet standard and with no midbox or cat they are known to still make very little noise unless you boot it :/

cars dont have to have a cat. its only illegal if the emmisions are too high.

if the emmisions are ok without a cat on it then its fine. but thats very rare on a car thats supposed to have a cat.
