hi i am going to put in polly windows in the fez and have a few question's. i see that a few companies specialise in polly window kits for the fez normal spec and scratch resistant rally spec. so am i best getting a kit for the fez. or am i best bying a sheet and cutting the windows out then placing clear film over them to prevent scratching. as the rally spec kits look pricy at 300 0dd notes plus 15% vat. |

yea i just dont fancy paying 300plus notes for a scratch proof kit. when i could just put clear film over them and replace the film when it gets to scratched. |

the more i look into plastic windows the more decided i am that i am going to do it my self. every 1 i talk to about them says there easy to do. well provided you have a good cutting tool that is. and there pritty flexable so geting the concave of the window should not be to hard. |

Where are you getting the sheets of it from? The reason why the good ones on that website are expensive is because its the best stuff you can get that doesnt scratch as easy as the cheap polycarb stuff. Although if I can get the sheets cheap, I'd be tempted too.. so post away links for cheap stuff ![]() |

I think I found a firm on ebay, garrunteed the polycarb wouldnt fade or glaze for 10 years and i think it was scratch resistant as well for about £30 for enough for both rear windows. |
