		<td colspan="2"><hr class="sep" />Hi, im thinking of changing my engine in my Ford Fiesta Si 1.4 to a 2.0 litre zetec out of a mondeo...<br /><br />My understanding is, it will fit stright in (engine mounts all line up) etc...<br /><br />But what am i going to have to change?<br />Wiring loom?<br />ECU?<br />Gearbox/clutch?<br />Exhaust?<br /><br />What about alternators and other ancillary parts, will they fit?<br /><br />I'll also have to notify:<br />DVLA (engine change + insurance)<br />Is there any cost in changing the logbook by DVLA?<br /><br />Also is there any guides out there that may be useful?<br />-Thanks

		<td colspan="2"><hr class="sep" />Hi there,<br /><br />You're not quite right about the engine lining up. The 2.0 is a Zetec engine and the 1.4 is a CVH so the engine mounts don't all line up. The 1.6 Si has the Zetec engine and it is this swap where they all line up!<br />There are a few guides out there for going from the 1.6 CVH in the XR2i which will show you what you need to do as you are effectively doing the same thing only with a 1.4 CVH.<br /><br />Paul <img src="./images/smilies/icon_halo.gif" alt=":halo:" title="Angelic" />
