bort some gti wheels of me mate but had some tyres on which were bols so took em off they were 55 profile and wantn to drop lower as these would rub if had same profile .however when to get some priced up which were toyo 195/45/16 and thye were priced at 65 quid what you guys think do you recon they will be low enuff profile or if theyl rub to hell ?chears |

GTi wheels are 15"  , think you have the mondeo versions which iirc are all 16"how much do you want to lower it by? not really sure what profile you'd have to run, you might get away with 195/45/16 or maybe eve 195/40/16 would be better, but i'm not sure i ran 195/45/15 on my GTi wheels and at one point i was lowered 60mm and only got slight rubbing on full lock(mine were spaced out 6mm aswell due to cossie 4x4 brakes)

You will want 195/40/16 tyres on them mate!

am i deffinatly gonna need 40 profile cus they seem to get realy pricy or could i just space wheels out abit ?as im havin combat wide arches on anyway would i be able to get away with 45 profile as not sure on how much lowering until the cars kit is done ,chears |
