		<td colspan="2"><hr class="sep" />disconnect the battery..leave it for about 15 mins before playing with electrics as there are capacitors in the system to store energy. undo the column trim. 4 torx 15 screws on the bottom.. turn the wheel and undo the 2 bolts in the back (T25 or T30 cant remember) and release the airbag from the steering wheel and unplug it. remove the centre bolt from the steering wheel. turn the ignition key on to take the steering lock off and lift the wheel off. remove the ribbon cable disc from behind and thats it.its off..youll have to discconect the yellow connector on the column to get rid of some of the airbag loom that might get in the way. youll also need to take the airbag warning bulb out and afaik mod the steering lock as they are slightly different but other than that...thats pretty much it<br /><br /><br />Jam

		<td colspan="2"><hr class="sep" />the steering wheel has the mounting moulded in as part of it...unless its the old skool RS wheel. with a big button or thing in the middle with RS in about inch high letters on. then its one piece. as i say..theres a guide somewhere on fitting the earlier wheel to the later cars. there is a minor difference..cant remember what tho..i think its to do with the steering lock <img src="./images/smilies/wink1.gif" alt=";)" title="wink" />
