Post subject: | Headunit Adaptor |
As regards the headunit adaptor for the coin tray, you could try looking on ebay or at the scrappies for the electric window buttons from an early Mk3 Fez. These were mounted in a blanking plate which fits in the coin tray. Here's one I found this morning: so if you can get one of those blanking plates, fix the metal cage to the back of it (screws at front and top maybe?) to support the head unit, cut a rectangular hole in the front where the electric window buttons currently are, then slide your headunit in. Hope that is of some help - I did a similar thing in my Fez to mount extra switches for my interior lights.[/url] |

I did it myself. Got an EVOX disk off ebay to save the effort. Took half an hour to do the lot. ![]() |
